On Thursday we were visited by Mr Malcolm Smith, Education Engagement Officer for the Houses of Parliament.
The session reminded children of what a democracy is. He explained what happened in the House of Commons and the House of Laws and how laws are made.
The children did not pass the law that schools should run on a four day week, thankfully.
Alex now aspires to be the future Speaker of the House of Commons. We think he will do an amazing job of bringing the Members of Parliament to order!
Mr Smith was very impressed with the responses and questions posed by the children.
