C4L, stands for Change for Life. It’s the NHS initiative for better health and Healthier Families - Home - NHS. C4L are to introduce children to different sports and activities or engage pupils who are not usually physically active to encourage a change to a healthier, more active lifestyle.
Children for Key Stage one and two attended the events run by the Sleaford Korean Martial Arts Club.
The children were taught about the kicks, mat work, use of weapons, routines and how to punch with the gloves and pads.
Ted said, “it was awesome!” Spencer said it was “the best school trip he had ever had!” All the children found the weapon activity fascinating.
