Year 1 made patterns using 2D and 3D shapes and considered how they could continue the patterns based on what they could already see.
Neverland Year 2 made shapes using lollipop sticks using their division and multiplication knowledge to decide how many sticks they’d need on each side for different shapes.
In Narnia, the children started the No Pens Day with a spelling bee. Then they looked at why we had No Pens Day and what impact communication and listening had on learning. The children played some games where they had to describe objects to each other and partners had to guess what it was. The children also played snakes and ladders with communication questions to encourage conversations. The children used the drama technique of freeze-framing to create events from the Stig of the Dump. For maths children completed a multiplication triangle dominos and the children really enjoyed this activity.
