This week we were visited by Sam Ruddock.
Sam is a paralympic athlete who has represented Great Britain in athletics and more recently cycling events for athletes with cerebral palsy. He gave an inspirational talk to the children on the power of determination and self-belief. He told the children about “magic juice,” which keeps the brain hydrated. He also stated the importance of sleep as well as Sam brought in his gold medal which he had recently gained at the Track World Championships in France last year. The children were truly inspired by his talk.
Remany thought he was amazing. Finley H said “his perseverance is inspiring!” Ralphy said he had “an engaging personality, he was funny!”
