Safeguarding is the action that is taken to promote the welfare of children and to protect them from harm.

Safeguarding involves protecting children from abuse and maltreatment, preventing harm to children's health or development and ensuring children grow up with the provision of safe and effective care.

We have been talking about safeguarding in assembly and all the children know that if they have a worry or a concern, they can talk to the School’s Designated Safeguarding Leads, who are Ms Riches and Mrs Brockington.
