We shared the story, ‘The Invisible String' written by Patrice Karst, during our whole school assembly on Friday.
The Invisible String offers a very simple approach to overcoming loneliness, separation, or loss with an imaginative twist that children can easily understand and embrace, and delivers a particularly compelling message in today's uncertain times.
After reading 'The Invisible String' we talked about how we are all connected to our loved ones by invisible string. Our discussion focused particularly on the current situation and how difficult it is not being able to see family and friends during the lockdown. Jaxon shared an amazing picture to show where his invisible string goes and who he is connected to. Thank you, Jaxon!
