Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended the Maths workshop on Monday. To begin our visitors saw maths in Early Years and Key Stage 1. Mr Murphy then led a talk through how maths is taught at Caythorpe in the hall.
Finally, we saw maths in action in Key Stage 2. Children throughout the school where applying their knowledge to problem solving activities. The children demonstrated how they use different resources to support their understanding such as base 10 materials, Cuisenaire, Numicon, number lines and Renkerek counting frames.
